Our DDA compliant ‘Stargard’ ‘not cold to touch’ handrails are sleeved with specialist PVC meaning they’re long lasting, anti-chip and warmer to touch* in comparison to traditional stainless-steel alternatives – making this a great choice for schools, nurseries and educational environments.
Many schools update their handrails and balustrade systems over the summer holidays or half terms. This ensures there is minimal disruption to pupils learning and streamlines the installation process.
*Our PVC coated handrail on average is 4 degrees warmer to touch based on internal on-site tests. This is in comparison to stainless steel or powder-coated handrail in 0-degree outdoor weather. Results may vary.
