Recommended System Configuration
Stargard is a durable PVC-sleeved handrail designed for demanding environments such as railway stations. A 4mm (4,000 micron) PVC sleeve is applied over galvanised steel tube, creating a robust handrail with a finished diameter of approximately 42mm.
Unlike a standard powder-coated finish, the thick PVC sleeve provides consistent colour throughout its 4mm thickness. This helps Stargard resist knocks, bumps and everyday wear,
making it particularly well suited to busy railway environments.
Stainless steel brackets can also be used to help minimise maintenance and provide long-lasting performance.
