Stronghold Applications

Because Stronghold is a stainless steel balustrade system it is suitable for both internal and external applications.

Typical installations would be staircases, atriums, walkways, balconies and main entrances.
It is particularly suited for installations which require sharp, crisp lines and low maintenance costs.

Stronghold  ...  The Product

Stronghold is manufactured from stainless steel tube, either grade 304 for internal use or grade 316 for external.

The tube can be polished with either a BRIGHT or SATIN finish.

The handrail is 50mm or 42 mm diameter and balusters are 50mm diameter. The handrail is fabricated to suit each individual location. Bends or mitres are incorporated into the handrail and all workshop welds are ground smooth, dressed and polished to blend into the design. One mechanical joint per flight of handrail is our design aim.

The fittings (glass brackets, baluster tops etc.), are grade 316 stainless steel bright polished.

Various infill panel options are available, namely, toughened glass (clear, tinted or etched), perforated sheet (either stainless or powder coated), mid rails or stainless steel wire.

The product is designed to keep maintenance costs as low as possible and, "on site" time to a minimum without affecting the quality of the installation.

Stronghold, once installed, is easy to maintain.
