Glassrail Applications

Glassrail structural glass balustrade is intended for "quality" building applications where a "clear view" through the balustrade is required, whether on a staircase, "viewing balcony" or an atrium.

It can be used either internally or externally.

Glassrail is ideal for commercial, public and domestic applications.

Glassrail .... The Product

Glassrail is an elegant, glass balustrade system, with structural, or cantilevered glass, which uses 12mm, 15mm, 19mm or 25mm thick toughened glass panels as the balustrade, without the need for any vertical metal or timber balusters.

Design Options.

Handrail:  50mm or 70mm diameter, or 80mm x 40mm oval stainless steel, top fixed to the glass or, alternatively, handrail from our Stronghold, Stargard, Strading or Citadel range, side fixed to the glass.

Glass: 12mm, 15mm, 19mm or 25mm thick toughened, clear glass which can be sandblasted or acid etched with logos or features if required.

Base Fixing: mild steel clamping plates, stainless steel profiled clamping plates, or stainless steel clamping discs, give a variety of fixing options.

The fixing can be to the side, top or underneath the floor or, to the side "string" of the stair.
