The Company

We specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of quality, bespoke, balustrade and handrail systems.

Our products have been developed to offer a complementary range (components are also interchangeable across the range), and to give a good selection to our clients.   They are available nationally either on a "supply, deliver & fix" or "supply only" basis, the latter being normally for straight lengths of handrail.

Our handrails are all designed and manufactured to suit each individual site requirement, and are fabricated in the workshop, with all welds ground smooth and polished, prior to site delivery.

This avoids the need for frequent joins and limited bends of more conventional systems.

Our products

Our product range includes:

Stronghold ..a stainless steel tubular balustrade system with a selection of infill panels.

Stargard .. The original warm to the touch handrail. Tubular system sleeved with 4mm thick pvc, after fabrication.

Glassrail ..a structural glass balustrade system using 15mm or 19mm glass panels and a choice of handrails.

AL50 ..a tubular aluminium system with "thick wall" balusters for strength, and an antimicrobial (hygienic) coating

Citadel ..a tubular brass system.

Strading ..oval section aluminium handrail with twin stainless steel balusters.

It is possible to "mix and match" products through the range.

e.g. Stargard dda handrail on Stronghold balusters.

Technical

We design our products to comply with U. K. building regulations and the relevant British Standards.  In order to meet these requirements, balusters, and the spacing between them, have to meet fixed design criteria.

Our clients can rest assured that all of our systems do meet these requirements, and the balusters are of a size, thickness and strength which achieves this without sacrificing aesthetic considerations.

Drawings are prepared on CAD after the site has been measured and they are sent to our clients for information.  Manufacture commences at this point.

Manufacture

Because our products are "bespoke systems", they are designed and manufactured to suit each individual location.

Stage inspection and hand finishing is carried out in our workshop, with final inspection before cleaning and wrapping, prior to despatch to site.

Delivery

From site measure, a programmed delivery of 6-8 weeks for a typical 2 flight stair balustrade would be reasonable. (subject to current workload)

It is important therefore, to allow this timescale when planning your project.

Our experienced fixers, who are based in different regions of the UK mainland, then install in accordance with the approved CAD drawings.
